Lancé en 2008, My Little Paris est un groupe média et e-commerce qui rassemble plus de 130 salariés, s’adressant aujourd’hui à une communauté de 5 millions d’abonnés. Leur marque de fabrique : un ton extrêmement travaillé et une capacité à générer du bouche-à-oreille sur leurs contenus.

Progressivement, la newsletter d'origine s'est déclinée en d'autres thématiques (Kids, Wedding, Books, Green, Merci Alfred, Mona, Tapage, My Little Beauty…) et en e-commerce (My Little Box, Gambettes Box, Gina) en restant toujours au plus près de sa communauté. My Little Paris a également lancé en 2013 son Urban Lab, agence de conseil, d'études et de création qui accompagne ses partenaires sur les problématiques liées à la ville et aux Parisiens.

Le groupe est aujourd’hui présent à l’international dans 13 pays, en Europe et au Japon, avec des bureaux à Berlin et à Tokyo.

Job Description

My Little Box is a lifestyle subscription Box which delivers selected cosmetics and accessories from Paris, once a month as a surprise. Part of My Little Group, My Little Box was launched in Paris in 2011, and now counts 200 000 subscribers worldwide (France, Japan, Germany). It arrived in Tokyo in 2013, disrupting the Japanese e-business and subscription scene. Since then, we send every month a Box curated in our Paris headquarters to more than 30 000 Japanese girls to spice up their daily lives.

Today, we are looking for our next Manager of Operations in Tokyo. You will manage a team of 3 people and work closely with our Paris team.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it :

Monitoring the Japanese business :
You will be responsible for the monitoring of the japanese budget and report it to France and to our accountants with clear KPI (revenue, gross margin, ebitda).
You will plan yearly and reforecast monthly the quantities for Japan according to the current situation.

Coordinating the box production between JP and FR team :
Overseeing the adaptation and production of the box for the japanese market while monitoring the cost of goods budget.
Handling relationships with local suppliers, briefing and pitching new suppliers if needed in order to optimize costs and supply chain.

Being the guarantor of the customer happiness in Japan :
Overlooking our customer service to meet the high standards of Japan : quality control and customer satisfaction.
Creating retention and increasing the lifetime subscription average.
Monitoring and reporting every month KPIs to France (daily number of tickets, monthly return boxes, churn rate, lifetime box subscription average)

Managing the operations team (3 people) :
Being a real team player to create synergies among your team and the other teams’ members.
Embodying the company’s values and spread them among the team’s members.

You will be based in Tokyo with opportunities to go to Paris.

Preferred Experience

Do you have a good knowledge of the Japanese market ?
Are you always on the lookout for new trends and ideas?
Are you the king excel ?
Do you like optimizing and planing like nobody else ?
Are you fluent in English?
Are you a native Japanese or have a fluent level of the language?
