My Little Paris (www.mylittleparis.com) is a French media and e-commerce group set up since 2008. With more than 130 employees, it addresses a community of 5 million people all over the world, primarily focusing on France, Germany, and Japan. Our signature skill? Our capacity to share and tell stories with a unique tone and that "je ne sais quoi" on how to generate word of mouth for our products and content.

The group specialises in e-commerce subscription services and has launched 3 businesses that are available in Germany:

-My Little Box (www.mylittlebox.net), the monthly happiness package, filled with lifestyle accessories and beauty products which has acquired more than 150,000 subscribers worldwide.
-Gambettes Box (www.gambettesbox.com) shakes up 40,000 closets in Europe every month with 2 pairs of tights, designed in Paris.
-Gina (www.heygina.fr) offers women a subscription of 100% organic period products: pads and tampons and panty liners. We will be launching in Germany in the coming weeks.

Today, My Little Paris is present in 13 countries, in Europe and in Japan, with offices in Paris, Berlin and Tokyo.

Job Description

You will source every month 30 000 of the best cosmetic products, to make My Little Box the best Box on the German market.
We are looking for someone who knows the German beauty market, and who knows it well.
What do we mean by this? We want someone that knows by heart the shelves of Douglas and the latest brand presented at Budni. Someone who can explain the differentiating selling points Lavera and Weleda. Someone who has a strong address book of Beauty brands, from local niche newcomers to worldwide established beauty brands. This certain "someone" doesn’t necessarily have to be German, but must speak and write fluently in the language and wash him/herself with Lavera products for the rest of his/her life.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it:

  • Find each month the best product mix for My Little Box.
  • Build unique partnerships with local or global cosmetic brands according to their Brand strategy.
  • Develop a strong relationship with our partners and create dedicated operations with them to enhance the My Little Box experience.
  • Disrupt the German beauty market with a bespoke and consultative approach, proposition our tailored solutions and media/marketing plans.
  • Always be on the watch for new beauty tendencies, and new brands coming to market
  • Work closely with our Paris HQ on global collaborations

Preferred Experience

You, yes, you...:

  • are a native German speaker with a solid understanding of the German beauty market
  • Love meeting new people, picking up your phone and develop your social skills
  • Love sales, challenge and provide creative solutions to your clients
  • Are fluent in English
  • Have an established range of contacts in the cosmetics & PR agencies industry
  • Naturally follow the latest brand out there and beauty innovation
